About Me & the sudio

About me

My name is Bron (they, she, or he pronouns) and I’m a tattoo artist at King of the Hill Tattoo Studio on the Mid-North Coast NSW.

I’m in my 30's and changing my career to tattooing has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I was a health care professional prior to my career as a tattoo artist. I completed my apprenticeship at King of the Hill with Rob Domberelli as my mentor!

Art has been a lifelong passion of mine and I’m honoured my clients want to wear my art permanently on their skin. I’m particularly interested in nature, death, decay and esoteric designs. I have a fascination with the relationship humans have with death and the knowledge of our own mortality. Our relationship with death is an essential aspect of the human condition.

My artwork aims to explore aspects of this relationship we have with mortality and the transient nature of life; aka a memento mori.

I simply love stipple shading and dot work and can do it all day (it’s a stim!).

I’m neurodivergent (dx AuDHD) and I consider myself a darkly inclined nerd. I love reading and collect books and I also do amateur insect pinning and wet taxidermy.

About the studio

King of the Hill is a private tattoo studio located in the seaside village of Emerald Beach, NSW.

I tattoo in a private room at the studio and it is a safe space for all bodies and genders! I’m delighted I can offer this privacy to my clients.

King of the Hill Tattoo studio was previously located in Coffs Harbour.
